Butterfly With Snow
It snowed at my place the night of October 29, 2023. The next day I saw the most Colorado thing possible.
I took the picture 2023-10-30T13:47-0600, the day after it snowed. The day after it snows along the Front Range is almost always a brilliant, shiny gem.
If you look directly under the 4th picket from from the left, you see a smallish, vaguely monarch-looking butterfly sunning itself.
The butterfly got to enjoy a shiny gem of a day one last time.
